According to a recent research presented at Milan’s second edition of the Martini Premiere Award, the most mentioned Italian actress on international press and journals (in a period that goes from July 2008 to May 2009) is our beautiful Monica. Giovanna Mezzogiorno came in on second place, while iconic divas from the past Sophia Loren and Claudia Cardinale ranked as #3 and #4 respectively.

Last night one or more individuals broke into Monica and Vincent’s apartment in Paris, and stole two computers, Monica’s jewels (worth about 80.000 €) and Ms. Bellucci’s passport.

Today Ms. Bellucci landed in Turkey in order to attend the Mardan Palace Hotel inauguration. As you can see from the pics below, Monique was spotted as she was leaving the airport. Later, she took part to a press conference along with other celebrities such as Sharon Stone and Richard Gere. Photos from the press conference should be available real soon, so stay tuned!
Last Saturday our beautiful Monica spent the day promoting her latest film Ne Te Retourne Pas at Cannes Film Festival. Photocall, press conference, tv interviews, premiere… It sure was a busy day for Monique!
The movie received mixed reactions from critics and journalists, but apparently it was quite appreciated by the audience.

Variety confirms that Mademoiselle Bellucci will be playing a role in The Sorcerer’s Apprentice, starring Nicolas Cage and Alfred Molina.
The film revolves around a sorcerer who recruits and trains a young protege to help him fight the forces of darkness in modern-day Manhattan.
Monica Bellucci plays Veronica, a sorceress and the long-lost love of Nicolas Cage’s character, Balthazar Blake.
The Sorcerer’s Apprentice is produced by Disney and Jerry Bruckheimer, and directed by Jon Turteltaub. Filming is taking place in New York City.
